Cradled

A couple of tiny droplets cradled amongst the fine leaves of my grannie bonnets, sheltering from the wind and not completely in focus - could even be an abstract selfie if you look closely.

Mum and I had a really nice visit with R today. He was thrilled to see us, could speak to us without wandering, understood that we would go but would return, it was one of those visits we will always remember with a smile.

A little bit of sun in Christchurch while we were visiting R but cold and wet at home, it feels like winter has returned.
