every now and then you just need to "let go"

Thank you for your words of concerns and prayers regarding Steffi, it's not like I/we don't appreciate them, because we do, it's not like we're "bad parents" or "abandoning her" because we aren't, it's just like nothing like this has ever happened to us (or for that matter to anyone we know) so reactions and/or "proper" responses to a situation like this are foreign to us.
