The Secret Garden

It was such a lovely bright morning that we took the car up to the car park at the Kilmartin Glen to have a walk round the Nether Largie stones and Temple Wood.
Mid morning we met up with friends Mother Shipton and Snapper. After a catch up over tea we headed off for the Secret Garden to get some photos of the autumn colours in the garden. We let Maeve have a snooze in the car as we wandered round this lovely garden.
We then headed for a walk down to a lovely little quiet bay with great views across to Crinan there was also a very impressive dry stone dyke to view as well :-)
It was a lovely way to spent and afternoon so thanks to Mother Shipton and Snapper for sharing some of the lesser known sights of Mid Argyll with us :-)
Later we had tea at the Kilmartin museum before heading to Cairnbaan for a walk along the canal from lock 6 to lock 10 a nice gentle walk for Maeve.
I have put up a few extra shots of our day out :-)
