Boxed

Looking down the second staircase in my new lodgings.

For some reason I chose the room at the top as the box room and so have spent hours shifting boxes, with the lower landing acting as a temporary resting point. For the boxes and for myself.

I probably won't be here more than a year or two so much of what is boxed will remain boxed, but perhaps I can thin them down a bit.

In one of the boxes was a book of Escher prints, which may have inspired me to look at the staircase in this way.
