Bridge over the Allan Water

One of the perks of having an exhibition in Dunblane is that it has encouraged me  to get to know this medieval town dating back to the 12th century though very little from that period still remains.

Because of its location-  situated halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh it has become very popular with commuters, so much so that the infrastructure has struggled to keep up.

Re exhibition ( see extra photo for entrance to museum, a former butcher's shop): the good news- we had over 100 visitors this morning, all children from the local schools, and the bad news- this afternoon produced only  six visitors.
