Evo Triangle

Had breakfast this morning overlooking this wonderful structure in Liverpool's dockland: an enormous brick warehouse, now disused, which once stored vast quantities of tobacco. It is opposite the Titanic Hotel, which is housed in what used to be a rum warehouse.

We spent this morning driving the new Vauxhall Astra on some fabulous North Wales roads, known as the Evo Triangle because of their regular use by car testers from Evo magazine. Then a lunch stop at Portmeirion.

This afternoon I diverted via the Wirral to visit an old chum I hadn't seen for many years. He hasn't changed a bit and we had a good natter and laugh before I had to head south on the long drive back home. A good day.
