FAB

For convenience and flexibility, car companies often use private charters out of Farnborough Airport for car launch events. The airport is FAB, at least that is its official IATA code - like LHR for London Heathrow, and LGW for Gatwick - but we car journos think it is Fab too.

This is a corner of the terminal building, with its lovely swoopy architecture and these eye-grabbing metal tiles as cladding.

Today's event, to drive the new BMW X1, is in Spain, inland from Malaga, and the other photo is the view over the roof tiles from my hotel bedroom.
