13.8C starting bright then clouding over. Some bright spells. Dry, contrary to the weather forecast (no surprise there then). Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound was indoors this morning. Becoming cold for her to be out in the garden.

Maeve and I went for a walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.

World Cup rugby union on the telly this afternoon. Scotland 45 Japan 10.
