2B or not Two Bee

3 weeks ago, I posted a photo of a Bee Orchid that we found on our hols in Suffolk. This is one I found today here in South Yorkshire. We were doing the walk that we reccied last week. The weather was pretty grim and I knew it would be difficult to get photo opps whilst doing this walk, so I took only my compact camera for quick snapshots. In the meadow where we saw the orchids last week, I was thrilled to find this bee orchid - smaller and less brightly coloured than the Suffolk one, but still a great sight. The people on the walk seemed unimpressed by the orchids generally, and were obviously puzzled by my great delight. Philistines!
