Snapshots from my sister's kitchen

Busy day!

Up at 6.30 to take Gulli to his Latin lesson, I enjoy the time with him and it gives us a chance to chat.

Then off to Emma's, her Mother in law has very kindly donated her late husband's wheelchair to my Mother so we went to the home and had breakfast with my Mum and Norman who is 93, stone deaf and has no legs but is a ray of sunlight, he used to be a singer and sang to us, told us about his life and his faith, he is a Quaker, he said life is like a parade.... He is amazing.

Then we took Mummy for a walk in the new chair which is much easier to push and left her listening to a pianist with other residents and drinking sherry!

Then a quick coffee with Kate and Tim and a trip to the charity shop with some donations.

Then up to Horsham to see my sister, we'd hoped to visit Gerry but he was in the process of being transferred between hospitals so we will try again tomorrow.

We had a drink in a country pub and a great catch up and once home Jon cooked a delicious dinner, gammon and mash, carrots and cheese sauce, more taking and laughing and so to bed.
