The Longest day ..................ever

Oh yes, it's been a long day............ in more ways that one.
Techno problems within the banking system have made life rather difficult today, especially as half the workforce were technically "unpaid" . Not a fact I really wanted or needed at 8.30am . My boss is away, but was emailing me to see what was occuring. The relationship manager from the bank was on the phone, offering assurances that possibly maybe everything would be ok-ish.
I could cope with all the work hassle , its nothing new , BUT ......... the one thing that tipped me over the edge ......was the fact it started raining again.
