Early or Late?

Noticed a new bract appearing on the anthurium plant I bought last Christmas and which has been ignored ever since.  It caught my eye against the rain-soaked window.

A trip to Forfar today to meet up with friend L. and bore her rigid with my holiday photos (she insists she enjoyed seeing them!)  Great to catch up and find her looking really well now:-)
