Surf's up!

Well - the Nelson version of surf anyway!!

Tahunanui beach is an incredibly shallow, safe beach and the only times we get 'surf' is when the weather is rubbish. These pics tell you something of the yucky weather we had last night and today.

Gotta say though - I didn't even get my feet wet taking the pics :) I'm not overly happy with the shot but it was the best of what turned out to be a very mediocre bunch.

Had an amazingly social afternoon/evening today. Friend dropped in unexpectedly late afternoon............called another friend to get her opinion on something after tea.........then another friend (from Christchurch!) dropped in unexpectedly mid-evening. It was great to catch up and we certainly talked for a while!! What a great way to spend the evening :)
