Toronto-view from the boat & from Centre Island

Beautiful day to leave work early, play hooky and take my sweetie for a boat cruise around the islands and a pre-birthday and pre-race dinner. Had a lovely afternoon and scrumptious dinner; a bit of a carbo load getting ready for the head race tomorrow in the men's 8 in Welland, Ontario. As tomorrow is his actual bday I will come and cheer him on, taking pictures as I ride my bike along side him for the 5+ km race. I will also bring healthy chocolate quinoa cupcakes for all (unfortunately the icing is not as healthy).
