Scarp

I went on a boat trip to Scarp today, as part of the Harris Mountain Festival. Scarp was last populated in 1971, although some of the buildings have now been renovated for holiday/summer homes (I've attached extra photos of the Post Office, which is in use as a summer home and the School House, which is well beyond rescue). I spent a happy few hours wandering the island, exploring some of the abandoned buildings and taking photographs. I had a picnic lunch at the shore and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
