Aftermath

We left Doreen to get get herself up and ready while we did our usual Saturday morning walk into town on a beautiful late September morning.

The pressure of the past three weeks are beginning to make their mark, which was why the walk to Hastings and today's walk, coffee and muffin were a welcome interlude to recharge batteries and refocus the mind.

Doreen went home when we arrived back. She now gets her own lunch but had been coming back to us for dinner and overnight.

Tonight though, she's staying in her own house as her other daughter is stopping over for a few days enroute from France to Scotland.

The afternoon was spent processing as few apples in the juicer. At least we're managing to make more use of our apples this year.
