Help I shrunk the wife!

A moning of bits and pieces doing lots of jobs including catching up with blip comments.

We're planning some major developments in the garden involving moving the greenhouse to put up a studio to provide some room for Susan to paint, sew and all the other things that she likes doing and for which there is little space in the house. We measured and drew a plan then set off for Notcutts at Tunbridge Wells to look at some bespoke garden buildings - without the plans!

We have a Notcutts loyalty card which gives us 2 for 1 lunches and 2 coffees a month, so we enjoyed a pleasant lunch with coffee and a shared "secret special recipe scone" afterwards. The scone was very acceptable but not at the top of the premier league!

We bought a bespoke shed some years from the company that is based on the Notcutts site and have been very pleased with it, so they were the first point of call. They'll provide a quote and we can take it from there. The next step is to dismantle the greenhouse and our neighbour can do his thing with the fence behind (see yesterday)

A quick look around resulted in today's blip as well as the purchase of some Italian sausages and a couple of church candles. From there we drove to the village of Pembury and had a short walk along the Tunbridge Wells Circular Path which also doubles with the High Weald Landscape Path which takes in some lovely Wealden scenery of wooded ridge and farmed vale typical of the Weald of Kent and Sussex. Saw a buzzard perched on clumps of soil in the field in the extra, that was great. Also saw a heron too.
