Excitement

It's not just the skeletons. Actually, it was almost all about the skeletons for me today. Lovely S was off sick with the snottery beak and swollen throat, so I was alone to deal with a record number of burials in one day. Oh, well. I've done it to her before, in reverse, so...karma.
The groundworks team are still removing the enormous foundations of the church which used to stand on site. Today they found the foundation-stone, with a lead plaque naming the various worthies who wanted to take the credit for the building. Among other things.
