A Small Manufacturing Job

Today our plumber has been here, but I have not helped him very much as I have generally been resting.  Once I felt somewhat better, I decided to sort out a minor problem that I had.  I use a small butane gas powered soldering iron and the bits wear out very quickly.  I had been unable to purchase any new bits on my last few visits to Cambridge, so I decided to use one of the existing bits and to re-machine it so that it could accept screw in, replaceable tips on the bit.  Today’s blip is of the completed job, showing the soldering iron with its bit and two additional screw in replacement tips.
