MonoMonday: Past

After taking Toto for a walk along the river near the Casino this afternoon we stopped at another little park on the way home so I could take some more photos, as you do! :o)

Just by chance this little house happened to be there and I was thrilled to realise it was the same one I used to see when I was a child!

It was built in 1937 as a display house for a brick and tile company and named The Dolls House. It fell into disrepair but was renovated and relocated in the 90's further along the Great Eastern Highway to this little park. I was tickled to see it as I have fond memories of loving it as a child and remember constantly asking Dad if he would build me one at home! ;)

Couldn't go past the pink and red bottlebrush flowers together either so I've put them in as an extra! :)
