Fiery

Well, I guess the shepherds were fair dancing with delight this evening, as the sky above Dunoon turned to flame shortly after seven o'clock. Our dining table is beside the window, but I sit facing the wrong way for the sunset at this time of year and was driven to look for myself to see where the pink glow was coming from - right to the extent of going outside not once but twice during my dinner as the red intensified.

Shortly after I took this, the fiery glow subsided into that delicate pink that means all will soon be grey and dark, and then it was gone.
