Holyrood Palace from the Scottish Parliament

I was in a crossparty meeting today on adult learning and democracy, in a room with a view  across the front glass portico to Holyrood Palace. Who could resist that view on a perfect autumn day?! Good way of celebrating 1000th blip from the seat of power! Extra photos show the front elevation of the parliament with police presence and the second shows a closer view of Holyrood Palace.
