Arch of trees

Another fabulous "Indian Summer" day!!

After washing the car (as you do), I set off on my bike with sandwiches in my backpack and rode along tracks towards Dinnington and Newcastle airport. It's a favourite route of mine but this time I went further than usual (as I had a picnic with me!), exploring a little more of the Reivers Cycle Route. There were lots of blippertunities but eventually I chose this shot as I like the way the foreground trees form a frame for the trees behind.

The route goes past an army firing range; the "extra" is one of the warning signs along the perimeter. I decided it was wise to heed the warning as the flag was flying - and I could hear lots of bangs!
