Shakespeare

Friends, Romans, Countrymen
Lend me your ears ......

We've spent a splendid day wandering round the Bard's town, Stratford Upon Avon, starting with a boat trip up and down the River, walking the Town Trail and taking in all the wonderful old buildings, Shakespeare's Birthplace for one and finishing up at his resting place in the Church of the Holy Trinity.  The church is lovely and we sat awhile and listened to the Choristers rehearsing with their voices of angels - but I bet they  aren't little angels all of the time!!

Finally, and fairly done in after all that walking, we spent the early evening on the Waterside at Carluccios, sipping wine and endlessly people watching to the accompaniment of some great buskers.
