Nearly Missed this...

.... alpenglow picking out the west faces of the Mont Blanc Range. We do not see the right hand peak, the Aiguille d'Argentière, from our altitude, but I was leaving Villars tonight after yoga, when this was happening. I had to screech to a halt off the main road! It was going to be a common blue butterfly on knapweed (extra if you prefer butterflies) until this happened.

I had a great morning climbing above Saxon too, such a lovely day, but will be glad when David is back from UK, it's very quiet at home.
