Start and end of day

Up at 2:30 (two hours sleep!) and off to the airport, checked in and bagged the window seat. This lovely sunset up in the clouds was a good start. Good flight to Lanzarote and then queuing for a) baggage and b) hire car. By this time we were 3 hours early for booking into our villa. Managed to find it ok, spoke with the c,eater and agreed to go back in an hour. Took a little trip to find our villa we had been in last time, quick stop off at a little supermarket and then down towards the sea - ver darby & Joan (and British), both sitting in the car, windows down eating our sandwiches watching the waves! Back to the villa, unpack and a quick dip, before another trip yo the local supermarket to buy a pizza for tea. Caught the sun setting over "Montana Roja" (red mountain). Back to the villa, cooked tea, managed to catch Eastenders and Now shattered.
