Scottish Week

Awsomo & I have ventured north to Forres for Scottish Week. An event that happens every three years and something that my in/out laws are an integral part of.

The whole town comes out and celebrates everything that is Scottish, local and fabulous. Theres the nomination and awarding of the newest Burgess of Forres, (which a few years ago my father in law was the proud recipient) Concerts, queen & princess's crownings, convoy of parade floats, pipe bands and hillicks an hillicks o' Whisky and award winning beef! It's a right good time and brings a lot of tourism to the area.

This is a shot of the newly refurbished Toll Booth at The Market Cross. Such a pretty building. Sorry got lack of 'festive' image. Non of them came put very well.
