'Water Hawthorn.....

....or 'Aponogeton distachyos' to be precise! I'm not clever! I had to search this one on Google as I didn't have a clue. A lovely Indian Summer day again.,,.I had a nice morning at the Harbour with two lovely friends ..then this afternoon Pete and I drove to Batemans Nat.Trust. So hard to choose my Blip for today, but this wonderful pond scene was the winner. The light was exquisite! The Rose garden, last blipped on the 25th July, has matured and is a mass of blooms...can't believe it's all looking so fabulous on the 2nd October! We sat on the terrace in front of the walled garden and had tea and scones (Pete had Flapjack). The weather is about to change in a couple of days so we made the most of it!
