Edwardo

The sharp profile of a handsome, swarthy Italian scorpion greeted me at the front door this morning.

Despite him making strong attempts to join us for breakfast in the living room, he was ousted. We named him Edwardo Sisohando before we sent him on a trajectory into the garden opposite.

It was good of Liz to point out his markings were remarkably similar to the wood of my bedroom floor, walls and ceiling.  Barefoot, I think not.

We've then spent the day chilling, heading up towards the mountains for coffee, lunch and an explore of a local village, finishing off by failing to find a place for dinner.

€2.40 for DIY risotto al porcini simply means more to spend later in the week. There is always a bright side!
