I love the look of the ice hall at NW Castle hotel with its snowy mountains in the background.  We were the first group to use the ice this season.  We had a great talk from Gail Munro, the ice technician who manages the ice at the hotel. Her presentation was terrific; very informative and entertaining and made us more appreciative of the effort ice technicians put in to keep ice in tip-top condition for curlers. .
