Stacked with Creels

13.1C dull and cloudy. Rain forecast for the afternoon. Moderate breeze forecast to increase.

Maeve and I went for a walk before lunch to avoid the forecast rain. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path then went down to the beach at Westhaven via the road bridge over the railway. The tide was coming in. Valhalla A was out at sea, its dingy moored near the shore. The other two smaller boats were lying on the sand. We walked along the sand to the fishermen's huts. The tractor in shot belongs to the skipper of Valhalla A. The creel storage structure belonging to the skipper of Shamara II has been stacked with creels for the winter.

We came back over the road bridge over the railway then carried on round in a long loop heading into Carnoustie and up the main road before turning along for home.

The rain arrived before 2pm.
