Bales

12.1C with more cloud today. Some sunny spells. Light breeze.
A change in the weather is on the way.

Grocery shopping this morning then home.

Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. The fields on the farm have lots of bales and one field still has straw drying. Rain is forecast through the week, so I hope the straw is baled before then.

We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.

World Cup rugby union on the telly this afternoon. I will watch Ireland v Italy.
Scotland were not in the same league as South Africa yesterday, although there is still hope of a quarter final place if they can beat Samoa in their last pool game next weekend.
