Eco-Pumpkin...

I got a wonderful pressie today.
EcoDad brought me an organic Pumpkin into work from his allotment. He may be able to correct me but I think he said that he pimped out the pumpkin seeds to fellow allotmenteers and this is one of the resultant fruits.

This was EcoDad relaying instructions on roasting the pumpkin to prepare it for some pumpkin soup of which I'm half-way through.

Slice the pumkin like you would melon, clean out the seeds and stringiness, put straight into a roasting tray, drizzle with olive oil, season and roast for 20 mins. When done, just peel off the skin. Canny wait.

I tell you what, I tried to get it into my work bag but it was a bit of a squash.
