Pecked Grapes

More mangled and mouldy in large.

I had a poke around in the garden with the macro lens this afternoon: there were a couple of blackbirds hopping/stabbing about, and the mixed flock of tits appeared but didn't like me being there. The grapevine seems to be a favourite of many of the birds: it is heavy with little (unripe) grapes, and the birds seem pretty keen on them. I found this set of grapes that had been heavily pecked but not taken, and this one had an interestingly varied fungal flora...

I've uploaded a few other Oxford and macro pics to Flickr (right from here). This pansy would probably be my alternative, or perhaps this dark droplet.
