University Parks: Sleepy Wasp

Easier to examine in large.

This wasp was very sleepy, which made it easier to macro... It was warming up on a little wooden post, and then started to wash its head, antennae, and (sharp) mouthparts, which was very interesting to watch up close (series of shots right from here). It even looked rather cute (again) with its front legs framing its head. It then climbed up to the top of the post before taking off and buzzing off.
