Covered Market: Reflections

More wideangle than my lens in large.

I was torn between several images today: I wandered around the market from about 8AM as it woke up, and enjoyed trying to capture its morning vibe. I like the atmosphere as it prepares for the day, and was struck by the range of characters that I found there (pigeons & purveyors, commuters, and those taking refuge).

My extra is a window revealing the back room of one of the shops, where (later in the day) one can take a butcher's at the butchers... There were rabbits on show today, along with "the oldest ham in the world" which always hangs in a case in the window.
