Shhh..

Shh.. don't wake the owl.

Steve the carver has been back today and we now have a seat, owl and Green Man.  The seat is in the base of the zombie poplar - the bit being left in place here.  That didn't quite work out as hoped as the wood was rotten in more places than we'd hoped.  However, the two small carvings in the tulip tree trunk are great.  Amazing wood colour - didn't expect that.

It wasn't planned to have the owl asleep, but, having got that far, it looked just right.
