Neptune

For two days we've visited spa towns, yesterday Leamington Spa, today Cheltenham. We had to pop into Evesham B&Q and Homebase so decided to carry on to Cheltenham. We parked up at Pittville Park and walked into town. We resisted Nero, even though there is a very nice one near the Everyman Theatre, and went to an 'Italian' cafe which wasn't particularly Italian, though the coffee was acceptable. We went looking for Cargo which appears to have gone then to the gardens where the Literature Festival was encamped.

I'm sure when we've been before there has been lots of people milling around, today seemed fairly quiet; of course Terry Wogan was appearing this afternoon so maybe that's were they were all gathered.

This is a picture of the Neptune fountain on The Promenade, alas not running at the moment, built in 1893.
