Clarendon Square

We thought we'd pop over to Leamington Spa today. We like it there for its shops and architecture and we hadn't been for a while. First stop was Nero, of course, and pleased we were inside, the heavens opened and the rain fell although it was the first day of Noah's flood. We had a window seat so we holed up there with the papers and watched as the streets and pavements were washed away. It was torrential! Eventually it eased a little and we ventured out. We popped into Tiger next door and by the time we came out it was time to move the car from the limited parking spot. I managed to grab this shot on the way back, an example of Leamington's Georgian architecture. We stopped off at Homebase to look at dining table chairs then home where the rain was shaking Stratford.

This afternoon was spent sorting photos and listening to Van Morrison and Clapton on the record player.
