Is it a cruise liner or a billionaire's luxury yacht? Neither, it's the Lunar Bow, a fishing boat based in Peterhead. She was built to a traditional Purse Seiner/Trawler design, and catches herring and mackerel during the seasons and other pelagic species such as horse mackerel, capelin and blue whiting in the off-season periods.


On her very first voyage she landed 1,100 tons of mackerel at Peterhead, worth some 1 million Euros, after only 48 hours of fishing!
