Turning Gold

I seem to have come out of a few full-on days with a heavy cold, so after my friend left this morning, it was a quick trip out to do a few errand and fetch some cold powders, then back to bed for a couple of hours. 
We had a large influx of Goldfinches in the garden today, many of them like this one, youngsters - they seem to have had a good year.
