Sea Legs

The weather hasn't been idea for a cruise. strong winds and overcast.

Today has been more about exploration than anything else. We seem to have done some serious miles walking around the ship. It is quite disorientating actually. The only ways to be sure that you are going in the direction you want to is to look at one of the ships maps or out of a window. We have had several occasions were the sea seemed to be going the wrong way.

We did discover a nice little bar at the rear of the ship just one level up from us in our wanderings. It is out of the stiff breeze and doesn't seem to be a favourite hangout. That is where we will be going for sundowners tonight.

Jo and I attacked the buffet at breakfast and lunch today. on both occasions we seemed to have beaten the crowd by a few minutes and managed to get ourselves decent seating. Again, the food is exellent and plentiful.

There are plenty of activities on board, designed I think to keep the adult population semi occupied. The alternative is to drift towards the numerous bars. On my own I would probably go for the bar option but Jo is keeping us up to date with the goings by perusing the Pacific Daily, the on board news leaflet. Earlier we watched a juggling lesson while I fought my way through the maze that is the wireless internet connection on board.

Dinner...We went back to the buffet on level 12. Early again and we got a good seat. Now to go and find somewhere that sells alcohol.
