On the road again...

This was taken on the last leg of the journey into Balranald, only 95 kilometres to go. We left after breaky and now it is tea time. Australia is a big island.

On the road we passed through small towns of Blayney and Cowra where we still had a lot of traffic which was leaving Bathurst where people stayed after the race. It finally cleared mid morning and we had a reasonable trip except some roadworks in the middle of nowhere.

We travel over the Hay Plains which are extensive areas of very flat country, nothing much to see or do. We did however see a few birds and cattle, one emu, a dead snake and an echidna and two tortoises.
My camera decided to go onto "err" mode and wouldn't work. I got a couple of blips through the dirty window beforehand but was disappointed that the pics are second rate.
There are lots of caravans and huge trucks ( road trains) and four wheel drive vehicles. Also one old mini in original condition. It looked like a toy car. I have a work meeting tomorrow before pressing on 140k to the next town.
