A shady corner

The weather forecast was for a wet day, so although it's a bank holiday (la fiesta nacional) we didn't make any particular plans apart from working. However, as you can see the weather forecast was completely wrong. The 95% chance of precipitation is still conspicuous by its absence. We had lunch in the garden and then lounged on deckchairs reading and enjoying the warmth. Once again I wandered round the village in search of a blip. I love the colours and textures of the local stone, so I resisted a mono conversion even though it's Mono Monday.

Mystère again had a more exciting afternoon than we did; he stalked the small tortoiseshell cat that boldly came into the house and stole his food the other day, and chased her off down the road. Result!
