Mini mate Mick pre-MOT

Mini is due for her annual roadworthiness test, MOT, and fitting new brake discs was among the jobs which seemed necessary before the test. I no longer do such things so this morning she was up to Mick's place. There's not much about the classic mini that Mick doesn't know and no repair that he cannot do. But his workshop is his front drive so a fair weather window is necessary and this morning obliged.
The blip shows him working on the nearside brake; he'd already done the driver's side. A new steering column bush followed and that is as much as we'd identified as a possible fail, but MOT testers usually manage to find something.
Thanks for the wishes for my 'recovery' yesterday. Do feel a bit better today. Some comments to catch up on but I usually go through my 'follows' and star etc over breakfast - between 6 and 7.
