If you can't beat them...

Spiders Web

Waking up in the Devil's Garden to yet another beautiful morning, incredible weather for the start of October.  The morning was misty and as I stepped off the boat first thing I spotted this cobweb picked out in droplets of water.  Not something I see every day so too good to miss.

After that we cast off and headed back up the Weaver, having traveled to both ends (a first for us having only traveled upstream from Anderton before).  So it was back to the Anderton and up on to the T & M Canal.

On reaching the T & M we decided to continue "breaking new ground" (so to speak) and headed on up the T & M through three more tunnels .  Only little ones this time the longest being only 1239* yards long.   When we reached the Bridgewater Canal (one of the few canals in England and Wales not controlled by the Canal and River Trust) we decided to turn round and head back down the T & M.  We have now at various times covered the whole 90 odd miles of the T & M.
