Arthur and friend

A day out in the illustrious company of my dear friend and fellow Blipper Redkite has gone some way to restore my 'lack lustre' spirit and lack of blip mojo of the last few days.  I owed her a Birthday present from last June and at her request we had a slap-up lunch at The Farm (no wine, both driving ;-/) - lots of chat and giggles and then I took Rk on a further history hunt of the infamous Lord Clive of India, who is of particular interest to her.  We visited his birthplace and then spent time in the lovely church at Moreton Saye where he was baptised and much later laid to rest after a turbulent life and Army career.  Its been another pleasant day weather wise and extra nice to have shared it with my friend.

And a very good friend she is as despite playing havoc with her knees Rk kindly obliged me by crouching down and  putting her head through a hole;  luckily she had Arthur's protective arm around her!!  (Arthur Hollins, the pioneer of Fordhall Organic Farm - he developed a farming method that restored the life of his soils and respected its microscopic inhabitants....   "It's all about living with the natural cycles, animal, plant and human," he said.)
