The Pastoral Symphony.

The harvest is long in, the days are drawing shorter and frosts are threatened each morning now.  The sun tried to put in an appearance at lunchtime but lost out to the cloud, mist and dampness of an autumn drizzle.

This is the village of Stanmer, close to Sussex University.
