A magical morning

Mist is unusual here but when it does arrive, it gives a magical air to the scenery. By the time I took this, it had almost gone but the stillness of this photo made me choose it - there were plenty of other ones I could have used today.
The afternoon's highlight was finding the Pectoral Sandpiper - an American shorebird - that has been on Baleshare on and off for four days. I'd looked yesterday and the day before but failed. This time I was lucky as it was close to the road  an d put up its head at just the right moment.
