Bye Bye Lake District

We have had a fantastic short break in the Lakes. Why has it taken us so long to go back ?

We departed today. On the way back we stopped off en route and walked up Gummers How - recommended as providing maximum reward for minimum effort !

This is the view looking south-west, with the southern end of Lake Windermere in view. The extra is looking north-west, with the big hills framing the horizon (and yours truly spoiling the foreground).
